I love a good ruffle. Especially now that Emily’s around. I find that I’m drawn not only to ruffles for her, but me too now! So girly!

I’ve only every made ruffles one way, so when I saw different ways to make them, I was interested. Here are some of the tutorials I’ve found that will give you some variety in your ruffling!

I didn’t realize that you’re really supposed to use two basting stitches. But I like the tip about using a pin to fix any gathers as the ruffles go through the sewing machine.
