To say a whirlwind is an understatement…
*We sold our house
*I started school (moved to a new grade)
*We bought a new house
*We packed and packed and packed
*We found out we were expecting baby number 2
*We moved
*We unpacked and unpacked and unpacked
*I painted the kitchen cabinets
*I bought eight gallons of paint for most of the house
*Emily took her first trip to the ER for a cut on her head
*I painted one bathroom
Yeah, it’s been a little crazy. Pregnancy #2 has been a lot tougher than when I was pregnant with Emily. Perhaps because of all the life changes or perhaps because I’m chasing a toddler. But I’ve spent most of my nights napping on the couch. Today is the first day that the morning sickness was gone–hopefully a disappearance that will last for another 6 months!
I promise I’m going to try to start blogging more! At least for some creative ideas for homemade Christmas gifts. And updates on my new house (which is currently covered in very neutral tan paint that must change!). But it’s still a little slow. Even if I feel better, I’m still trying to catch up from fatigue. But little by little.
Thanks to all of you who have been visiting in the last months, and thanks to those who have stuck with me for ages!
PS–I’m totally going to nap on the couch now!
Congratulations! And wow . . . you’ve been so busy! I’m glad that your little one is okay . . . take care of YOU, too! 🙂

I feel your pain through my daughter-in-law who gave birth to my 2nd granddaughter 2 weeks ago. I spent Fall Break helping & now have big sister Hazel (age 2) here with me in Richmond. Trust me, it will all work out…with a little help.
